In our rush to journey from one place to another – physically, mentally, emotionally – we envision a linear progression, of movement, thought and feeling….a constant improvement with each step taken. How the Universe laughs…you silly humans!

I imagine the Cosmos shouting:

Look around you! Do you see anything linear in creation? You have created the lines yourselves, whilst everything around you circles back to itself, reaches out and then circles back again. There is no straight line, only imaginary ones where you impose your limited human judgment.

The spiral is waiting, waiting for you to see it, acknowledge it and feel into it. Waiting for you to abandon your conditioned yearning for the straight lines. Have you not noticed how your strongest fears and irritations keep returning to you in some form or other – that is until you master them?

The spiral is waiting, waiting for you to feel into its curves, to dive into the depths of every experience, come out with any wisdom gained and then, to dive in again when the circumstances demand you do so.

The spiral is waiting, for you to understand that this is the way of creation, of the Universe. It is the way of you and the way you find your way.
